In its most basic form, a goal is defined as “the result or achievement toward which effort is directed.” Although this definition is correct, it lacks the vitality and momentum required to propel us forward. Goals entail developing and implementing strategic plans. As we strive for continuous progress and accomplishment, these plans will inevitably evolve. And having clarity on a plan gets the ball rolling.

In this context, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s words come to mind: “A goal without a plan is just a wish.”
